Lead User Experience Designer

MassMutual, Financial Professional Experience

As the designer responsible for data analytics and sales reporting, I was responsible for a complete redesign of the reporting platform used by MassMutual’s 8,000+ financial advisors. I created data visualization standards within the constraints of a third-party business intelligence tool, worked closely with product stakeholders and end users to gain intimate familiarity with reporting needs, and simplified access to meaningful reports within an overwhelming and confusing ecosystem. I also wrote accessibility onboarding documentation for designers joining our team, with examples of accessibility principles aligned to the MassMutual design system.

As a UX designer focused on internal HR tools, I established data visualization standards that reduced report creation time by 75% while creating consistency and improving clarity. My design work on Honeywell’s internal compensation offer tool increased adoption by 230% and reduced approval turnaround time by 50%, directly impacting speed-to-hire.
